In a society where sexuality is often demonized or treated as inappropriate, it's easy as spiritual seekers to separate, sideline, or outright ignore our erotic selves. And yet within our sex lives lie our power, our pleasure, and our relationships to both our bodies and intimate others. In this four-session class, we'll explore our sexuality through the four archetypes all humans live out--The Victim, The Prostitute, The Saboteur, and The Child. Class by class, we'll use archetypal overviews, tarot draws, and deep writing prompts to help peel back the lessons each have to share, arriving at a deepened sense of what it means to be both a spiritual and sexual being.

This class draws on my experience as a Certified Sexologist who has provided sexuality education to more than 8,000 people, from elementary school to medical school to sex writing intensives. I currently study Depth Sexology and the Erotic Basis of Being in the lineage of Zhenzan Dao of the MogaDao Institute. My sex writing appeared in The Best American Essays 2016 and won the 2015 Iowa Review Award in Nonfiction.
