December 15, 22, 29 and January 5
6:30pm-8:30pm CT
$222
Do the holidays tend to throw off your writing practice? Commit to virtually writing in community over Zoom for four weeks this December and January. Each week, we’ll spend the first hour writing generatively, connecting with our voices and sense of story. (You’ll have the opportunity to suggest topics related to your larger projects.) In the second hour of class, we’ll discuss one component of craft, often inspired by a published essay or excerpt. In the final week of class, you’ll have the opportunity to turn in a short essay or excerpt to a small group of peers for feedback. Instead of losing momentum in the midst of cookies, cocktails, and in-laws this holiday season, put a commitment on your calendar to make it easier to show up to your art.
This class is a fit for both those who are deep in memoir projects and those who want to build momentum.
Please note that this class does not include feedback from Kati in its base price. A special rate is available to class participants at checkout ($155 for up to 15 pages) if you would like to receive feedback on a revision of something you generated in class.
