Research can enlarge and deepen the stories we tell. But how do we turn interviews, academic literature, and site visits into something compelling to read? In this two-hour workshop hosted over Zoom, writers will discuss strategies for rich note-taking, the task of turning dry or dense information into buoyant prose, how to approach quoting others, and deciding which research--or how much--to actually lace into a piece of writing.
